Craig’s 180sx

I’ve been into RC cars , and cars in general, for most of my life. My dad got me hooked on both about 25 years ago. I’ve owned my fair share of cars, appreciated motorsports of all kinds, and been involved working in the automotive industry for way too long. 

Naturally, one night back in 2023 I found myself on Facebook Marketplace. Coincidentally I was going to pick up my first 1/10th drift car (a RMX 2.0) the next day. After dragging some friends down with me, we found RC Driftway in Wareham MA and the rest is history. 

This is my D-Like S13 rocking front and rear Maruma Factory over fenders, painted inside an out to add some realism and wear. I’m a big fan of how wide they make it look while keeping a factory feel, and the SlowStyle MK2 inchdowns look absolutely perfect tucked under them. 

This shell was inspired by grassroots drivers cars and styled with some of my favorite things. It’s been slowly coming together over the course of a year and will continue to change I’m sure. A project car is never done! 

Underneath is a Team AD RDX. Built from stock to pretty much full option, such a fun car to drive all around. Especially as a firm believer in “Look Good Drive Good”
